Hi, I’m Sarah. I do come from a bit of a creative background and painted houses and things like that as well. So creative and not so creative 💦

And what I really enjoyed about this workshop was that it was I was CREATING SOMETHING THAT WAS FOR ME.

And I can be a bit, not OCD, but I can get a bit tight about things and that too controlled.

So the whole way through Brenda was always encouraging me to just be free and loose and I NEVER FELT like there was a chance that I WAS MAKING A MISTAKE because there’s so many layers on these paintings that you’ve got to change it!

There was so much yellow in here before and now it’s all gone and I feel so much more comfortable with it.

But yes, it was an enjoyable session. It felt like it went in 10 minutes! (due to being in the zone) So many cool other people in the class!

And I can’t like - Brenda is just the best. She just makes you FEEL like a ROCKSTAR so thank you Brenda! You’re the best ⭐🎉👏

Love how life goes full circle! This time it’s with Wendy who was the first person who asked me if she could buy sone of my art and now she’s creating her own 🎉👏🥳. BK: So today I just wanted to introduce you to Wendy. Wendy was actually the first person who ever bought one of my paintings.
And she has since had a commission as well. And I know here from Dru yoga many years ago. But anyway we just wanted to see - as Wendy just finished one of my workshops today and ask you a couple of questions if I could.

Wendy: Yeah yeah Sure.

BK: First of all why did you decide to do it?

Wendy: I have just always loved Brenda’s artwork and I just thought since I had read the reviews one her website. And I thought she’s a friend. I love her art. Let’s come along and see as to whether I could even touch the surface of the magic that I have on my walls from Brenda.

And it was a great day! Good friends. Lots of fun. It didn’t seem like a full day. It just seemed to magically flow through the day. And it was great!

BK: Would you recommend it to someone?
Yes I would highly recommend it. And lunch was beautiful. Company was great. And everything was provided. You know even just the tools and things I have never worked with before. And I will carry on with this at home. If you want to buy it, just go to Brenda.

BK: Yeah I’m taking commissions. Did you find any part of today hard? Or that you learnt that you didn’t know before? Or yourself or something?

Wendy: Yeah letting go. Not having a plan. Just trusting in the process. That was a big challenge and once I did that. And saw Brenda doing it or other people doing it. And then watching what evolved from it. It was amazing actually. Just to just let it go and trust in what you like. And then see what comes together.

The sights of Puglia - five beautiful days in the towns Monopoli and Otranto 🌸

In Otranto we stayed in the stunning @relaisvalledellidro - a boutique hotel, very deliberately laid out.

It gets so hot here at this time of year that all shops and businesses close between 1-5pm for siestas!

Our second Ferrata was a challenging climb to @santnerpass a beautifully designed building, where we had a three course vegetarian meal - what a way to finish! The building is thoughtfully designed, so much so that additional heating is not needed in winter 🧗

The adventure doesn’t stop there! Our next stop - the Dolomites to climb the Via Ferrata 🧗

Via Ferrata is Italian for “Iron Path”, a climbing route through challenging alpine terrain - but isn’t that view worth every step!! 🤩 the paths are set up so that people who are not experienced climbers can enjoy being in the mountains.

Day 1/3 was a very steep, exposed climb. Doogs and I loved the grit! Then back to @rifugiopomedes chalet for a beautiful dinner and a great sleep.

The mixture of fun, challenge and adventure continues! 🤍
